Sound Designer and Mixer

I’ve been working on The Great Fail since it launched in early 2020. In each episode, I help our host, Debra Chen, create a true-crime style atmosphere by sourcing and cutting music and sound effects, in addition to dialogue editing and cleanup. Our podcast is part of the Adweek Network and has won several awards, including Best Entrepreneurship Podcast of the Year.

Sound Designer & Mixer

From Our Neurons to Yours is a bite-size neuroscience podcast produced by Stanford University. Each week, I design a short soundscape to introduce our listeners to the episode’s topic. Suffice it to say, it’s an interesting sound design challenge! In addition to design, I also handle the dialogue editing and mixing for each episode.

Dialogue Editor & Mixer

Seen Out Loud has been one of the most fulfilling podcasts I’ve worked on to date. The show helps those who have experience with the foster care system share their stories. In each episode, I and my composer, Christian Haigis, underscore the guest’s stories with thematic music to create a more intimate and empathetic listening experience.

Audio Producer

In the early days of Famous & Gravy, I helped co-hosts Amit Kapoor and Michael Osborne created the format that they now use for each episode. We decided to go with a trivia/game show sound design format to establish a whimsical, nostalgic atmosphere. Currently, my colleague Jacob Weiss edits and mixes the show!

Live Foley Artist

Connie Cosmos, an old-school-style radio drama, allowed me to try my hand at live foley performance, which required more coordination than I had imagined! Before the live taping, I also created a few specialized sounds, like the giant chicken vocalizations. You can listen to the podcast below, and you view the live taping on our YouTube Channel!
